OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital has been a leader in pediatric care for nearly 100 years and is a resource for every child and family in need. Its mission is built on four pillars: clinical care that is second to none; research to treat or eliminate childhood disease; educating and training the next generation of pediatric health care providers; and advocacy to ensure that the needs of kids in its communities are met through effective systems, policies and resources that impact children’s health.

Donor support is essential to Doernbecher. In this past year alone, philanthropy has made it possible for them to see more than 76,000 patients, research new ways to treat everything from respiratory viruses to rare disease and improve and expand services outside of the Portland metro area. Patients and families locally and across the country turn to Doernbecher for support in their most challenging moments.
